A portrait built entirely from tiny points of light. The green field reads as texture before it reads as colour, and the face emerges from it slowly.

Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical. Readable lettering sits high on the focal panel, white and gold snowflakes drift across the mid-field, and the character portrait anchors the centre. The expression is the tension point: a half-lidded, sideways smile that withholds more than it shows. A red Santa hat and knotted scarf cut two warm diagonals through the cool green, while a band of pale snow closes the base and gives the whole image a ground line. Nothing moves. The interest comes from contrast and density rather than action.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette the artwork works as a wraparound field with one clear focal face at the front. The portrait sits at eye height on the vessel, the lettering above it establishes hierarchy, and the lighter snow band at the base keeps the vertical proportion balanced. Viewed from the handle side, the pattern continues as texture, so the design holds together from every angle without competing with itself.
